Great explanation, I have the Deco mesh two node system
Mesh with wired backhaul. All day any day 🔥
You must be the worlds best boss ❤
I’m currently doing some research on mesh WiFi systems and I’m on a very tight budget, meaning I can’t spend more than $200 for a mesh network. I’m currently looking at possibly getting the TP-Link AX1500, which is their Deco W3000 (2 – pack) model, and what I’m wondering is, is it any good? My ISP’s router is located downstairs in the living room while the weakest part of the WiFi signal is in my bedroom, which is located on the 2nd floor of the house I’m living in right now. I do get decent speeds on my PC and occasionally on my PS5, but my PS5 cannot maintain a stable internet connection at all while my PC constantly switches from the 5 GHz version of the network to the 2.4 GHz version constantly, making my internet speed go up and down like a yo-yo! If I do buy this mesh network, I would set up one node by my ISP’s router and then set up the 2nd node in my bedroom, close to my devices, but hard wire the PS5 and PC to the node via, eithernet. Will that solve my issue and get better speeds?
For my internet speed, we’re paying for 1 Gig down and 35 up, but my PC tends to get 100-300 Mbps down while the upload speed is typically 35-40 Mbps.
How about a metal building 200 feet away?
